Responsibilities Accountable for: Manage the technical contractual scope of the TW on the project: Be accountable for the customer acceptance of the project TW solution Manage the project TW technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan Together with the Project Manager or Sub-System Manager, in case of contractual scope evolution, rise variation order and manage it Validate the TW technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director Identify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country/city and ensure they are taken into account in project TW solution design Manage the project TW solution, including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution to meet Quality,Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments: Ensure, with support of the required experts and involving all stakeholders, that all the technical requirements of the contract are fully captured and addressed throughout the project lifecycle Ensure that all the technical changes are tracked, managed and registered in the configuration management tool used on the Project Be responsible for the project TW design and engineering activities, including coordination of transversal engineering activities with the sub-system like Earthing & Bonding (E&B), Track embankment & slope profiles, Civil Works interfaces and topographical referential, Acoustics, Noise & Vibrations, etc. Be responsible for the preparation of the TW Design Reviews Define the criteria and process for the Verification & Validation activities In Standalone organization, be accountable for Engineering WP QCD, in bundle or turnkey organization, be responsible of engineering QCD within the TW WP. Provide BOM/BOQ Functionally lead the TW project engineering team: Allocate tasks across TW project engineering team and ensure engineering activities follow-up Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project Ensure the assessment of the TW engineering team, and support assessment of all the teams involved in project engineering activities. Share Policies and rules with the TW project engineering team (receiving inputs from PM or SMM and other Core team Managers) Manage the TW technical interfaces with the project teams: Provide all technical documents to the project team members for procurement, construction, test and commissioning (BOQ of equipment, pegging plan, etc.) Collaborate to the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with the Sub-System team, for the verification of the technical requirements of the equipment. In case of bundle or Turnkey, collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) to execute the technical activities of the sub-system in accordance with the global project engineering strategy supported by the PrEM. Solve TW technical issues detected by different team members During project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending TW technical issues following Product Introduction Manager (PIM) requirements Support PrQSM to consolidate the reliability of the sub-system. Support Regional Engineering Domain/Metiers and Infra Platform to consolidate the REX of the project and to define/perform knowledge capitalization. Responsible for: Sub-System QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance) : Respect of Design For Quality milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier Actual Costs ≤ Earned Value (Budgeted Cost of Physical Progress) On-time delivering: 100% Respect of performances of the system provided: 100% TW Specification and Design documents approval status Project requirements and configuration databases maturity Engineering management plan application Assessment results based on internal audits and process inspections (applied in the project) Knowledge & Experience : Educational : Civil or Mechanical Bachelor / Master Degree. Master in Business Administration and/or Master in Project Management, preferred. Experience: 5 years minimum TW Engineering including project deployment full lifecycle view Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations TW Products and solutions knowledge on different market segments (Tram, Metro, Mainline) and Engineering product development full lifecycle view, preferred. Competencies & Skills: Communication skills Interpersonal skills (teamwork and leadership) Decision-making ability Analytical and critical thinking Problem-solving ability Organization Structure Infra / Sub-System Engineering Structure Project Organisation in the framework of PM2020 Reports directly to: Site/Country/Cluster/Region Engineering structure Other reporting to: Functionally linked to: TW Project Manager (PM) in standalone organisation TW Sub-System Manager (SSM) in bundle or turnkey organization Direct reports: Leading the TW engineering teams (Design leader(s), BIM/Design integration leader, Configuration leader) and for the sub-system, the transversal activities RAMS and Requirements management.
