About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Director to drive marketing strategy and execution for both our PC and mobile gaming IPs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Web3 ecosystem, PC, and mobile gaming industries, possess excellent strategic planning abilities and be capable of managing a small/mid team. This role requires proficiency in influencer marketing, social media marketing, offline events and a strong understanding of the gaming community. Additionally, the candidate should have a deep knowledge of mobile user acquisition strategies, user retention, app store optimization and mobile ad networks. Our Expectations of You: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our company's vision and goals. Your strategic insights will shape the future of our brand and drive our growth in the competitive PC and mobile gaming markets. Team Management: Lead and manage a marketing team of 5-6 people, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to maximize team productivity and creativity. Campaign Execution: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing plans, including influencer marketing, social media campaigns, content marketing, user acquisition strategies for mobile and online and offline events. Ensure that all marketing initiatives are well-coordinated and effectively executed to achieve our objectives. Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, partners and key stakeholders in the gaming and Web3 communities. Engage with our audience to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor marketing efforts to resonate with them. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and strategies. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve our marketing efforts. Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and the competitive landscape in both PC and mobile gaming. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in the Web3, PC and mobile gaming spaces. What You Must Bring to the Table: Extensive Experience: Proven experience as a Marketing Director, or similar leadership role in the gaming and/or Web3 sectors. Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement. Marketing Proficiency: Proficient in influencer marketing, social media marketing, and event planning. Knowledge of the latest marketing tools and techniques to effectively reach and engage our target audience. PC and Mobile Gaming Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of both PC and mobile gaming markets, including trends, player preferences, and key marketing strategies unique to each platform. For mobile gaming, this includes user acquisition, retention- and monetization. For PC gaming, this includes digital advertising, content marketing, community engagement and successful game launches. Understanding PC gaming trends and platforms is crucial. Web3 Expertise: Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, blockchain technologies and their application in gaming. Ability to leverage these technologies to enhance our marketing efforts and differentiate our brand. Strategic Planning: Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns. Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative marketing solutions. Communication Skills: Fluency in English with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high performance and deliver exceptional results. Preferred Qualifications: Creative Content Creation: Ability to create compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels, including blogs, videos, and social media. Experience with Digital Advertising: Expertise in managing digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads) to drive user acquisition and engagement. Mobile Marketing: Proven experience in mobile user acquisition strategies, including app store optimization (ASO), mobile ad networks, and in-app advertising. Knowledge of SEO and SEM: Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to improve online visibility and search rankings. Understanding of Community Building: Experience in building and nurturing online communities, particularly in the gaming or tech industries. Familiarity with Discord as a platform for community building and engagement, particularly within the gaming community. Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with experience in using data analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance. Public Relations Experience: Experience in managing public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication. Event Management: Proven track record in planning and executing successful events, both online and in-person, to promote brand awareness and community engagement. Partnership Development: Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships to enhance marketing reach and impact. Experience with Product Launches: Proven success in planning and executing game launches for both PC and mobile platforms, ensuring maximum visibility and impact. Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira) to ensure timely and efficient execution of marketing initiatives.
